After graduating from Osaka University, he worked at the Production Technology Research Laboratory of Komatsu Ltd. He then founded Lexar Research Inc. and independently developed technologies based on VR, recognition, and simulation. His leading-edge products have made significant achievements in the manufacturing market. Received the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award at the 4th Monodzukuri Nippon Grand Award.

After completing graduate studies at Doshisha University, a Ph.D. program at the University of Tokyo, and an MBA at the University of Tsukuba, he worked as an executive officer for Fujifilm, Dow Chemical, Toyota, US Altair, Misumi GM, and Cybernet Systems.

D. in Engineering, President and Representative Director of Kizuki Architect, Inc. D. from the Graduate School of Science and Engineering at Waseda University, he joined Roland Berger Strategy Consultants as President and Representative Director of the Japanese office and Global Co-Chairman.

A graduate of the University of Tokyo, Faculty of Engineering, and an MBA from McGill University, he was CTO of Panasonic System Solutions and Director of Panasonic’s Board of Directors and Tokyo R&D Center before assuming his current position.

After working at Fujitsu, Cho-gin Research Institute, and Doushisha as general manager, he became general project manager of the Venture General Support Center of the Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, Japan, and founded Alomat Co.

He is the former Chairman of KPMG AZSA & Co. and Sakai Certified Public Accountants. After serving as Head of China Business Division, IT Audit Division, Senior Managing Director and Head of Tokyo Office, he became Chairman of the Board of KPMG Japan and CEO of KPMG Japan.
